Kruger National Park Daily Conservation Fee

All visitors entering the Kruger National Park are required to pay a daily conservation fee to the South African National Parks (SANParks).  This contributes directly to the protection and preservation of one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife reserves. These fees support vital conservation initiatives, including anti-poaching efforts, habitat management, environmental research, infrastructure maintenance, and community conservation programmes managed by SANParks.

Fees are charged per person, per day (or part thereof) spent within the park and are payable in addition to accommodation, activities, and conference registration fees.

To ensure that you enjoy a quick and efficient arrival, these fees will be calculated and added to your conference booking, and must be paid prior to your arrival.  SEISMIX 2026 LOC will then pay these collected fees to SANParks on your behalf.

Conservation Fees
  • South African Citizens must provide proof of South African ID, South African Divers Licence, or South African Passport on arrival. This proof is accepted in original, electronic or certified paper copy.
  • Also accepted to claim the South African rate are Foreign passports which have a valid visa/permit from home affairs to be in the country inserted onto one of the pages of the passport: Spousal / Work / Study / Retirement / Volunteer / Diplomatic visa. Also accepted is an electronic or certified paper copy. Alternatively proof of permanent residence as issued by home affairs, or a certified paper or electronic copy of any of above provided it is copy of the page of the passport indicating who you are and the visa.
  • SADC Nationals are visitors from countries that are members of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), excluding South Africa. These countries include Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles, Tanzania, and Comoros.
